Founded by Edda Paracchini and Giovanni Piazzalunga in 1950 in Gallarate, a town near Varese in Northern Italy, as a small lingerie workshop, today Parah S.p.A. is one of the world’s leading producers of swimwear and underwear.

The Parah Group produces swimwear collections with the brand names Parah Noir, Parah Beachwear (men’s and women’s), Sabbia, Impronte and Off Limits Beachwear.

In the underwear and lingerie sector, it makes the Parah Noir, Parah Underwear for men, and Parah Corsetry for women, and Off Limits Corsetry lines. Every year the company makes approximately one million pieces that are distributed at over 3000 points of sale in Europe and around the world, as well as flagship boutiques and partnership stores.

Since the 1970s, for each new season Parah has proposed fashion collections that revolutionise the concept of swimwear, transforming it from a “technical item” into pure fashion. The company thus created the “Euro” bikini to inaugurate the era of the common currency, the “Plus Cup” bikini and the “B206″ in a size range with differentiated cups.
